haha GM is run about as effeciently as our government. I like how I am short a lot* of shares of GM at 5 and bought at 4.75 before the stock halted but now I am going to spend thousands of my tax money supporting GM without my own consent. What a joke.

When do the bailouts stop?

Hearing that home builders are lining up to be next in line after the auto industry gets their taxpayer money.

Look at the market shrug off the GM news and go back to gaining for the day. Guess their bailout is already priced in? That comment seems to be the perpetual argument for any piece of bad news by the bulls.

Who is next after Chrysler, Ford, and GM? I think Goldman has been hiding a lot of their issues.

See what happens when you distort the profit motive? GM lost more than their damn market cap. That's why happens when you get government involved.

That's what I'm talking about, jobs were revised down 150-300k in each sector.

Have a feeling the amount of jobs lost in October will be revised upward substantially. It would be nice to hear an economic number that is at least somewhat accurate and isn't manipulated from a change in calculation or outright skewing toward what the public wants to hear.
