You made me laugh.....cause its true right now. HAHA.

Should be pretty damn interesting......The grim reaper is out and he is visiting my portfolio.....and probably a lot of yours.

America is screwed....housing has a long way to fall still....and everyone is locking up credit.

I wouldn't touch any of the financials.....what kind of position are these companies going to be in if housing drops another 30-40-50%?

I'm holding as much cash as I can. Didn't even bite on AAPL at $100.

Today I am SOOO glad I got out of commodities a while back with only a "big loss."

I can't stand the pork in the bill now and maybe too many representatives agree. Might not pass and the downside of being invested now is greater than the upside (IMO).

What's the downside? Well, we all heard "Dow = 8000" gloom & doom but I was thinking more along the lines of multiple contraction. Looking back in history I see the annual average PE ranges down to 6. Gruesome.

Go ahead and tease me. Call me fearful.

I added to positions I already held.

oilexco I bought, and slw.to

call me an idiot, and I may agree with you... but if this passes within the next couple weeks on some new found investing $.

If I loose money I invested... well I can live without it. No biggie

sure is painful to watch though.

Not taking short term small profits has bitten me in the a$$ these last couple weeks and quite frankly, that fishing took I trip cost me more than any of you want to know.
Lets just say I could be traveling around the world right now or have an NSX in my driveway live and learn.

guys what about the penny stocks look at wamuq,cc. IS wb even worth it after this huge jump after it fell. WHAT are some good penny stocks (upto $5 a share) that should see great improvments if the bailout goes through?

Discussion topics covering Penny stocks are verboten in this forum. In fact it is pretty much the only rule in this forum. Check the FAQ at the top of the Money and Investing forum. You can't miss the thread... It's titled: Posting Rules: Read this or Die!

Alright well, wb is not a penny stock what I meant by penny stock was anything under 5 bux... not everyone has 30g's to and 6 months to wait on return... Also what was $20+a share 3 months ago is 12 cents today. I dont see why we should descriminate against a oportunity especially in todays market!

under 5 bucks eh?

trying looking at amd. tons of debt. a positive in this inflationary environment.

they also have a decent looking pipeline.

u can always short rad into the ground.

fve i think will do okay longterm as soon as they revalue their land assets and is price in correctly.
