sound advice but s2ki's 20 investors isn't going to make a difference.
I understand that Chris but I just don't want people selling at the bottom and then buying at the 52 weeks high. It's just trying to make them a little wiser and smarter when comes to investing in the market.

US 3 month T-bills yield 0.04%, traded down to 0.00% earlier in the day, lowest in recorded history (at least 1954). I think people want out of the stock market REALLY BADLY.

I find it funny that people always think they got the risk tolerance for the market when it's a bull market but sell the shit of everything when they think the market is crashing

Keep on selling people I'll pick up cheaper solid stocks companies

Yee-ikes! I hear the Russian market trading was halted for days now. That could contribute to our problem (go liquidate some Ruskie stocks!).

assets should do well in the future...as the devaluation of the dollar will continue.

We are either printing more money, or borrowing more, increasing our debt load. Probably doing both.

All assets should do well.......oil/metals/agriculture/etc.

But as the economy goes into a recession...we will see short term pricing fall for these as we will more likely experience deflation for some time during this economic contraction.....

So its a race between exports declining at some point and demand declining.......if/when the economy turns around...demand for energy will continue to increase and prices will begin the upward movement.

I just don't see the dollar strengthening anytime soon....but at some point....people will need a better return for holding US dollars......and rates will raise....and the market will have a tough time with higher and higher interest rates.

I think we are basically screwed for a pretty long time. House prices have a long way to fall down in the highest speculative area's before this sucker and bottom out.

Either we are very close to a bottom or this is going to be "the" bottom. If russia collapsing, investment banks falling like flies, gargantuan insurer failing, two massive government agencies failing to the tune of trillions, gold up 80+ biggest move in history, tbills going for 0% lowest in 50 years, every newspaper in the country with "stock market" on the front, doesn't suggest we are looking at lows then I can't really see what else will.

If WAMU or some other chump fails I think people are becoming so jaded they aren't really going to care. I put a sell limit for half of my SKF at 144, it might have triggered I'm not sure. Then again, I remember ol' hoover's "everything is going to be OK, the worst is behind us" on that little blip before the gates of hell opened wide and reality flooded in.

The market is off 20% for the year and it sounds like people are going to start jumping out of windows. Unreal.
