If you don't own an exchange and want to have a look at NYX. It's been selling off of late, down to $88. The mid 80's is a great buying opportunity on a $120 stock. They report earnings on Friday.

NYX may go down to it's $82 support level. I've got another 50 shares to buy. I'll see what happens tomorrow and maybe get them then if it finds a bottom.

I like the stock here and lower. Put on half a position and wait to see if you get a better price heading into or after earnings. I've got 75 right now @ $87 and am waiting on my final purchase of 25 for an even lower price.

It's almost never a good idea to be fully invested. I like to keep about 25% of what I consider a "full" position in reserve. If the stock takes a short term dive it gives you a chance to lower your basis, cut your loss and get a bigger return when it bounces back. Depends on the size of your position obviously. If your full position is $2500 then commissions outweigh any benefit you might see.

this is looking good right about now. only thing stopping me is the earnings on friday, i don't like to buy so close to earnings even though if they do well it could be a good move.

That is why I'm holding back 25% going into earnings. If it goes up then I'll keep what I have. If it goes down I can buy some more at a discount. Buy half now, half after. If it runs then at least you've got a taste.

In @ $85.25...not a lot of money, lets see where this takes us...I like buying right ahead of earnings for some reason. I enjoy the risk.

i'll swing this one short term or long term, i'm not selling til after it hits at least $95 no matter how long it takes.

Not the best game plan IMO, but whatever floats your boat.
