first, you gota figure out what you want to do

for the people that tell you to just waste that 1000 on booze, girls, some luxury shiet...etc, i would say Eff them

sure 1k isnt much, you cant do much with 1k to start a business, but starting something gives you a chance to succeed.

back to what i am saying earlier, you need to figure out what you are good at and what you want to do, think about how that would become a service/good to people that you can potentially turn your product/service into revenue (business model).

starting a business is a good experience to have, sure , most small businesses fail, do you want to fail and lose 1k at age of 19 or potentially something a lot more than at a much older age where recovery may be tough? makes sense to me to just go for it now if you know what you want to do.

dont expect people are just going to hand you how it gets done, you need to figure this out yourself.

You can definitely start a business with 1k or less. I started a small business in college off of the 10 bucks it cost for me domain hosting. The key to succeeding is find what you're good at and move where the demand is.

Off the top of my head for $1000:

- Trading Forex, Binary Options, Stocks, etc.
- eBay/Craigslist/Classified Ads buying and selling items.
- Build a website/twitter/instagram following and market a product (cell phone cases, t-shirts, hoodies, etc anything really)

But I would suggest saving that $1000 and adding to it, making it $10,000 or $100,000 and then investing it wisely into something you could see yourself doing everyday.

If you mean $1000 then it will go along way as long as you indulge in business that you are interested and has the knowledge about it. If you know how to cook or bake then I assume that it will be a good business to sell pastries or meal among your friends and schoolmates. It is one of the best ways because it could not also hinder your time since you are also going to school to pursue your college.

Don't follow a trend, solve a problem. A lot of times when people try to come up with "the next big business idea" they are just looking around at what's currently happening. Try to find a problem that isn't being addressed yet, or addressed "correctly" and figure out a way to solve it. Just my $0.02
