Bernie Madoff's book value also hit $64B
Now, that said, there are major investment houses who are buying BTC, but I suspect they know what is, or isn't, backing it.
That said, there's two questions I've asked above that are still not answered:
1. If any transaction between two large parties is worth doing, why would they go to a third party crypto coin (vs. rolling their own, which many do)?
2. Is the price NOT dictated by parties who won't, or worse, CAN'T use sovereign currencies?
2a. If yes to 2, why in the world would you put your money there, especially for any long haul?

When I made this topic was 4k. Damn.
Anyway from the 2 one. Epic crash or keeps going to 60k..
Important info: I just follow the market value of BTC but I don't understand nothing about markets neither investments. I'm just curious in how this will end...

Honestly, I had some great advice from my wealth manager about cryptocurrencies that made A LOT more sense than much of the drivel out there. Crypto is neither a currency, nor a stock: it actually has all the markers of a commodity. Given that, my eyes opened, and my (already-low) FOMO went even further down.
Will BTC go down? Yes, but not when you expect it. Be afraid right now though: It went up because TSLA bought in. So now, it's propped up by $1.5B of Tesla's money. . . which means it's value can go when Tesla(/Musk) says it's time to go.
