well, starting April they will have the Wednesday "Road Warriors"...which I believe will continue to be $ 30 for 4 x 15 minute periods...

You might be able to rent the track but you are going to have to spend thousands of dollars, not considering insurance. Last time we looked at it the costs were astronomical, so unless we are planning to get at least 50 cars or so, you will have to spend a minimum of $ 100 per person for a 2-hour session.

Let me know what you find out - are you talking to Kyle?

thanks for the link Joe...while this only lists a "once a month" track day, please keep in mind HPT is highly considering to increase the frequency to twice per month. Add BMW clubs, Audi Clubs and Porsche clubs, and you could literally turn into a track-rat within a month of Spring 2006!

yup...they run from 6pm until it gets dark...however, they have a limit of 50 cars usually...if you get more than 50 cars then it slows down everything - you can only get 3 groups then...hopefully they allow more cars then or even if they started earlier that would be the best way to go.

Do you type from a blackberry?

I've been trying to get out to Heartland for the road course for over 2 years now!!! Between time, money, etc... I just haven't made it.
Although Road Warriors nights are a great opportunity!!

Also if we can't fund a whole day for just the S2K group, we could always look into joining in w/ one of the Porsche, Viper, BMW, RX7... days. Each group usually has 1 to 2 events per season.
HPT also usually holds several individual track days per year that are weekend long events for all interested.
The opportunity is there, we just need to put it together.
