Default Powder coating

Just a thought, i was thinking about powder coating my stock rims and was curious if there was any place in the KC area that anyone knew of.

lol 2 cans of primer, 2 cans of gloss black, and 2 cans of gloss clear coat. Did it on my winter rims.

if its not bad sand them down. The rims a bought were really bad but it came out well.

that looks pretty sweet....but if the price of powder coating isnt that bad I would rather have someone pro do it....

just curious though, what did you prep the wheels with to get out your scratches and all that and also do they chip very easily? thats my main concern since powder coating is pretty durable...

well I sanded it all down (crappy job b/c I was lazy) put on 2 heavy coats of each. primer, gloss black, and gloss clear. I'm thinking it will hold. Its been through the snow/salt and no chips yet, but if your worried just do three coats of each and you should be good to go. As long as you do a good job of sanding and painting there's no reason for it to chip.

do you know what type sand paper and all that you used and how long did you take with it?
