KC drive Sunday Oct 10
I have had trouble hooking up with other S2K owners for local drives so I have been monitoring the Midwest forum on the NSXPrime board. I have made a few of the drives with the NSX guys and we have had some good ones. One of their members recently bought a Porsche 996 Twin Turbo and he was on the last drive. They are open to anyone interested in driving the twisties. We meet at the Panera Bread store near I-70 and 470 about 9:00 to 9:30 and drive until 12 or 1 and then usually have lunch. So if anyone in this group is interested in a local drive on the 10th, let me know and I will pass it along.

We have used a few different routes. I live North of the river and really don't even know the roads we have used. I can say they generally are east and south. The last drive we did head north towards Richmond and took 210 west to O north to Excelsior Springs, and H to Liberty where we ate and went separate ways. Regardless we try to use secondary roads with some nice turns and little traffic.

Pete....is Tom the one who picked up the new Porshe? Does Mark(yellow NSX) still show up for the drives?
I went with these guys last year & had an absolute blast. Tom usually does his homework when it comes to the route you take, and he doesn't disappoint!
I don't know if I can manage 2 drives one weekend after another, as I just had a little one , but I'm going to try.

Yes, Tom had sold his NSX and missed several drives. He now has the 996TT and is back driving with us. You are right, he usually comes up with some great routes. Mark B with the yellow NSX has not been out since he skidded off the road last year. He is into tracking big time and is usually on the road. There are three or four other NSX guys that participate fairly regularly. They are a good bunch and welcome other drivers. I fully understand the complications and demands a new baby can bring. Just feel free tp pop in when you can.
