Urgent!
Last night when i was cruising in my s2k i heard a blast sound (bo0o0o0oFv) and a smoke came out then the engine stoped. i parked on the side i saw all the engine oil came out on the street.
today o took the car to the honda dealer to see whats wrong, And i've just got a call from them telling me "the engine is broken and also the gear, and this will cost you about 1500KD" which is about 5500$
I didnt do anything wrong with the car.. how did that happen!!
i cannot afford that 5500$ at this time since am travilling to egypt for a vacation soon!
Any ideas? my friend is telling me to swap the engine to Supra engine since s2k's engine is small and cannot handle the speeding.

i dont think u should do the 2JZ (supra engine) swap.
there r now almost 6 S2000s with that engine and they all had to cut some parts of the body to get it to fit.
just get another engine or find out which part of the engine/cylinder is broken. when engines break its not the whole thing.
if u find out which part maybe i can help u replace it.
or if u want to sell the car with the engine and trans broken i might buy it

The power you will get from the stock engine will be enough.
The things that will need to be fabricated are:
1) Propshaft (turning shop)
2) Transmission Bracket (turning shop)
3) Engine Bracket (turning shop)
4) Throttle Cable bracket (turning shop)
5) Radiator Hose, Ac Pipe Fitting & heater hoses (Dolphin Hoses)
6) Intercooler Piping (Fox Exhaust)
7) Intercooler Bracket (turning shop)
8) Custom Downpipe (Fox Exhaust)
9) Airfilter Pipe (Fox Exhaust)
Interior Fabrication
1) Arm Rest Adjustment- Shifter (Car Audio Middle east)
2) Instrument Cluster Adjustment- im not 100% sure, but since you might have to change to analogue instrument cluster (Car Audio Middle East)
Advantages:
2jz can handle big boost on stock internals
big horsepower when upgrading the Turbo
BE UNIQUE
Your car will always be Tail Happy
Blow off and turbo surge sound
Disadvantages
Sayin bye to 9K RPM high pitch scream
Bye to night rider style instrument cluster
waiting for the car to be ready
Passing the car in the inspection

Recomended Workshop for swap TOP SKILLS WORKSHOP (best in my eyes to be honest)
2jz is a very common swap here just take your time to think about it, s2k
has a very reliable engine.
I have an F20C engine aswell for 6000dhs 600KD
