Default Travelling to Your Part of the World

I will be meeting my friend (who is currently working in Saudi Arabia) in Cairo at the beginning of October. We'll have 2, possibly 3, weeks to explore other areas.
Any suggestions as to countries to visit that would be relatively easy/affordable to visit? (My airfare's going to be a killer!)

Ive heard Iran is a a really interesting place to visit and relatively inexpensive. I think you will have plenty to see and do in Cairo as well - but beware of the tourist pricing!

My 2cents.

Thanks for the advice everyone! My friend has been fortunate enough to find out it's cheaper for me to book my flight here and then book other travel-related stuff through locals.

I've heard wonderful things about Dubai, but my friend has already been there. Hopefully he'll want to go again!

Iran sounds intriguing. I think it will be hard to decide where to go in such a short period of time!

Any other suggestions/tips?

shareall,

u'll be real bored in Saudi Arabia, there is nothing fun there to do, unless you know the right people you can get mad hookups.

Where you going in Saudi Arabia? The best places where you can have fun are the beach resorts anything outside is real boring. Shopping will be dirt cheap.

Like everyone said , Cairo is crowded. huge city. If you looking for more fun hitup Dubai, infact i might be taking a detour to dubai when i visit saudi arabia this year

Omran is good with Sand Dunes and his bro.

Come to dubai, we shall organise a meet and drive (very hot now).

Egypt is good for enjoying with the family.
