Test & Tune / Car Show / Open Day @ UAQ Motorplex
Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Marwan Bin Rashid Al Mualla, the President of Emirates Motor Sports Federation and President of Emirates Motorplex,
the -motorplex-at umm-al-quwain will sponsor a "Test and Tune Open Day"/car show evening.
you are cordially invited to participate in this event which will be held on 5th of June 2009, 6:00 p.m. Friday evening.
It is an opportunity for drivers to explore the performance of their cars in a controlled and safe environment.
if you are interested attend on the same day entry fee 100 Dhs for each car plus a free entry for one mechanic .
THE DRAG OPEN CHALLENGE
Any standard road worthy car may participate in the event. Drivers must be in possession of a valid, current driver's license, and must wear a helmet, racing wear, and use the seat belt at all times while on the track.
Each car would be allowed TWO trials on the track.
The best run will be recorded.
Trophies will be given for the top three places in each category based on best time recorded.
CLASSES
class A
4 cylinder naturally aspirated open
4 cylinder 2 power add (turbo)
class B
6 cylinder naturally aspirated open
6 cylinder 2 power add (turbo)or super charged
class C
8 cylinder naturally aspirated open
8 cylinder 2 power add (turbo)or super charged
Notes
street tires or semi slick tires are allowed
NO VHT
NO FULL SLICK TIRES
NO NITRUOS GAS UPGRADE (NOS)
THE CAR SHOW
you are welcome to participate in the car show
entry fee 50 Dhs per car entry
trophies for the top three.
