Red Line Challenge
#2
Redline Challenge is a mix of Auto Test (Auto X) and Auto Sprint (High Speed Time Attack). You get to drive 3 times on each sprint and your best time is noted. Cars runs under respective classes. Very competitive and lot of fun.
Auto X is track laid out with cones and you have to do the track in fastest time you can. Again 3 or 4 runs you get your best time is noted or 2 best times and accumilated. Depends on the organisers. Autodrome gives three runs and EMSF gives 4 runs for this.
This time since it is combined, those who take part in Redline will get 3 + 3, and those who pay for both will get 3 + 4.
For you i would suggest to take part in redline and you get to auto cross only and then you decide which suits best for you. EMSF auto X champaionship is managed by EMSF and Redline by Autodrome. Both are championships and you can also do single events.
Doing a single Redline event:
- Participation Fees AED 250
- FIA License Fees AED 150 (Valid from Jan to December)
or
- Single Day FIA Lic. AED 50
So total cost of redline is AED 300 or AED 400
Auto X is a championship and there are 32 drivers in that, if you want to do a single event then you need do the following:
- Participation Fees AED 200
- Insurance AED 100
You can do the above twice and go for Novice Category (Lot of chances to win the class, lol) Once you are done twice then you need to pay AED 600 for full year championship which is AED 600 plus AED 200 for everyround (Participation + Insurance).
Insurance is not for the car its for you, so if you bang your car and die (wont happen) your family gets the benefit and if you bang your car and nothing happens to you, go repair it yourself! lol
Start with redline and come in for Auto X as well when there is no redline. I will now start posting the dates and days of auto x/redline/Track days/Knockout and drag races over here.

It is same because the event is combined! nothing confusing. and if you want to participate in knockout (drag race) you just pay AED 100 extra and tick the box.
If only participate in redline then dont sign in for knockout and if only knock out then pay AED 400 only for that.
Cash prizes to be won!
