Hi guys recently purchased an 03.engine is stock has a straight exhaust.
After the car is running for around 20 mins I hear a grinding noise only on low speed weather I'm slowing down or picking up on 1st even second till about after 15km/hr same sound when I back up. Any idea what it could be??
The other thing is white smoke from the exhaust again when the car is running hot I noticed from the rear view mirror when I'm at a red light. It does leave a trail when I vtec it too.
Here's some more info on the car
Model 2003
Kms 152k
Had a major service done at 130k from the stealership
The oil I use is bp10w40 (every 5k)

go to lap57 to have it checked out. Could be anything really. I would have said HG apart from the grinding noise, maybe rings or a thrown rod?

I actually know nothing about engines so not much help, but lap57 in Shaj will be a good bet, or Honda SZR. Has it thrown a CEL?

Nope no CEL , runs fine did some research on the grinding noise most probably the axle nuts needs a re torque to 250lbs. factory sets it to 180. HG is what im leaning towards. I do have an appointment with panda performance after the holidays. will probably do compression and leak down test and a once over just for the peace. About the spare cat! What would be your best price? Or would you be willing to let it go for saving the environment .
