Default WTB: Oil pressure gauge

WTB: OIL PRESSURE GAUGE & NECESSARY ADAPTER

Looking for both items together or separately. Basically, I need everything to hook up the oil pressure gauge. I do not need a pretty gauge, just one that work. I no longer have the Defi Controller unit, so that rules out any Defi gauges.

Thanks for looking,
Skip

hey if your interested in one and looking to buy new...check out Prosport gauges. they have very good ones there and they arent too expensive... the adapter plate comes with everything you need to just take off your oil filter.. screw on the adapter plate, and plug up the oil pressure sender unit.. just screws right into one of the holes, and it has 2 wire hook ups.. one for the ground.. and the other to the gauge. the gauge has a green wire that connects to that sender, then you have ground, power, and an orange wire and a white wire... depending on what color you want your gauge...you can hook them up in different ways...

i'm pretty damn sure you knew this already but i JUST did mine so i'm a lil proud of myself lol...

you can also order the adapter plate from prosportgauges.. but its blue... you can get one from GlowShiftGauges and its black and its also cheaper...

not sure how much your wanting to spend.. but for that cheap of a price with the quality.. id rather just buy new..there in florida.. ships in a couple days

Thanks, all.

Here's the route I'm going to pursue as suggested by Stratocaster(Jeff):
OK, here is what you would need.

This screws into the side of the block.

Next you need this. It comes with a few parts. The 1/8 NTP sender screws into the adapter above. You mount the gauge, supply power and ground to the gauge, and connect the gauge to the sender.

So for less then 100, you have an oil pressure gauge, and no block adapter that will be a PIA for oil changes, and the added risk of FIRE is it loosened.
Sounds like a better idea than the adapter plate at the oil filter.
