Are you running a square setup? I'm having trouble understanding the spring rates being used on coil overs

Those spring rates are pretty darn common. Almost identical to the KW V3

square setup means you should (or recommended) to run different spring rates front and rear. matching spring rates front and rear is for staggered setup.
i was confused and thought exactly like you too.. but after talking to terry at FA and plenty of suspension gurus here (including Steve above), this setup was recommended. And very common like Steve said... (look at KW's and Bilstein)
