Default ADVAN wheels/17 x 9 +45 Non-Staggered/SBC finish

SOLD

Hey,

I decided to put a For Sale ad up for my wheels. I will probably go with a less aggressive offset or stick to stock wheels for a while if these sell, but if they don't, I will probably bite the bullet and work on making them fit. Any questions, just ask!

Name: Kevin
Location: D.C. (specifically Vienna area)

These wheels are Advan Model 5 in their SBC/Black chrome finish. The size and offset is 17 x 9 all around with a +45 offset. The tires are Sumitomo HTR Z III 235/45/17 and 255/40/17. I will get pictures of the tread depth with the penny when I get a chance, tonight or tomorrow.

The Wheels:

Unfortunately, Google Translate cannot translate Japanese in images but,

Also, according to Yokohama's website translated through Google:

● Twin five-spoke design one piece casting.
● Thorough analysis of strength, lightweight design.
● Special clear coating boasts more than 100 microns thick.
● Saidobyudezain varied slightly by a decline in the center rim width.
● Aluminum Ring (silver anodized handle) + Ornaments Acrylic Molding
● Colours; Silver / gunmetal / Bronze / Buraitokuromu (no sizing less)

EDIT: Wheelweights.net lists the 18 x 8 as 19.2 lbs, so I would think the 17 x 9 is somewhere in that vicinity. For reference, the stock 17 x 8.5 is listed at 20.5.

The Tires:

Sumitomo HTR Z III

# Five rib asymmetric tread pattern merges cornering with straight line stability.
# Long lateral grooves evacuate water from the center of the footprint.
# Four straight, wide grooves further heighten drainage for improved wet performance.
# Siped tie-bars reinforce block rigidity for control and enhance wet traction.
# A 3-D wave wall increases drainage capabilities and reinforces center rib stability.
# Rigid, wide steel belts
# High tension casing plies
# Advanced silica tread compound
# Reinforced construction (by size) for real world durability
# Y-speed rating for true high-performance vehicles
# Covered by Sumitomo’s “Life of the Original Tread” Warranty

The Good:

# Depending on your driving experience, the fact that these are non-staggered may be a great plus to you. 17 x 9 +35 - 17 x 9 +45 seems to be the sweet spot for a non staggered setup, however it requires fender modifications (see The Bad).

# There is a LOT of room for a big brake kit. I will try and get better pics, but I think you should be able to run any 4-pot kit and not need any spacers (I think 6-pot require 18" wheels).

# This is subjective, but the design and finish of these wheels is beautiful. Trust me when I say this doesn't look like your typical cheap chrome. Anybody who has seen the Enkeis in SBC or the Volk RMC (Rays Metal Coat) will know what I am talking about.

# These are Advans, which means they are relatively lightweight and meet the Japanese standards (JWL) for durability and quality.

The Bad:

# This offset will require you to roll your front fenders fairly aggressively (or pull), run aggressive negative camber, or buy aftermarket front fenders (Downforce, Shine, ASM, Challenge USA, etc.) This is something I have been hesitant doing.

# There is some very slight curb rash on the right rear rim. It is not very noticeable, but they are no longer in pristine, brand new condition. I will try and get a couple good pics.
