Thanks for the update Wingy! Those look pretty hot

I guess I'm still going the old fashioned way though.

Just let me know when you want it re-opened

Please note...there is another vendor link in Defender's "this information" link above. It offers LEDs for our 7440 replacement. HOWEVER...I would caution against the LEDs in the main turnsignal 7440 area for a couple reasons (but you're big boys and girls...make your own decisions). For me, I would be concerned that 1) the LED will project limited light, and 2) what light it projects will be forward...rather than being "splashed" around in the chrome reflector housing. Additionally, as pointed out in the related thread, the LED will do a mad/fast blink without a resistor.

Also...folks have told me that they've purchased these LED bulbs for their rear brakes. Annnnd they've not been happy with the results (low light output for brakelights). Be careful when just rushing in to get it for getting's sake .

But again!...I think the sounddomain 7440 replacement is a great alternative for those that have cleared their corners (and want to stay [at least much more] within the scope of their state laws regarding turnsignal lumination).

What about for the rear turn signals? I know Mikey (StreetDreamz) has hyperwhite rear turn signals. What size bulb are those?
