winters in northern VA?

My car doesn't go out below 40 degress on summer tires. Snow tires are one extreme and summer tires the other. All season radials are well worth the money if the car is your DD. My 2 cents.

I'm one of the only ones that says i'd only trust true winter tires on some skinnier wheels, like stockie ap1s
i'd do 185-195 up front and 205-215 around back to try to keep my snow tires skinner so they dig in the snow...
Is it a necessity? probably not...but I'd still do it.
(but I also put 200 lbs of sand in the trunk.....well...maybe its cause I daily a 450+ hp car with a gutted interior and no weight in the trunk but i also found the s2k easy to slide)
