Just so everyone knows, I'm in the process of talking with Carlo now through AIM. Apparently this Alberto guy is a bit different in private message with Carlo than he is on the boards. It appears that he is a rather cocky guy... even though his posts on the public forums are very mature, he isn't so great through private message.
