Why can't they learn to park?
I came out after a meeting yesterday to find my S 2000 as I left it, between two unoccupied parking places...with one important difference. In the intervening period some idiot hit me in the leading edge of the driver's door (it won't really open any more) and really bent in the left fender. My baby's going to the body shop on Monday, and I'll bet the tariff is going to top a couple thousand bucks. I'm not even sure the fender can be saved.
Oh, yeah, you guessed it, no note, no nothing. Thanks A$$holes!
I'm going to be even more paranoid than before when I get it back

Sorry about your car, man. I just don't understand why its so hard to pull between two stripes.
Speaking of parking:
I was late for work today (in my Prelude) and I found a nice close parking space filled mostly by the left half af a Cadillac that had been backed into the next space very poorly. Since no other spaces were open I decided to take my chances and park there. When I got out I saw a big key mark on the Caddy's door...probably from the guy who got blocked in when the Caddy parked.
So now I'm imagining the guy coming out to his car, seeing the scratches, looking at my car and returning the favor. I just hope I get off before him. I'll let you know how it turns out. Precisely why I don't drive the S2k to work...

I know what you mean! I got my first ding last week when I was at the Outer Banks, NC. I went to WalMart (against my will I might add) and parked near the back of the lot, no cars within about 10-15 spaces. When I came out there was this huge white SUV thing next to my car, but it seemed far emought away to not make me look at that side of my car. I later discovered a nice little ding, with a smear of white around it
I swear, I could park in the middle of the Sahara desert, and someone would park right next to me

Sorry to hear about your baby. I don't get why people can't park. Usually people miss the S2000 because it is so small, but there's always some f4c25ng idiot that hits it any way. Once I had someone back out of a parking space into the front of the S2000, fortunately the only thing bent was the license plate.
No matter how far away you park, someone in an SUV will park next to you. This happens with the S2000 and it happens with the Sequoia.
