I did I am beginning to think I am getting dumber by the day. It took me five tries to get out of my driveway but I did it. Fishtailed off the driveway on attempts #1, 3, and 4. Took it slow through Clifton and got to work safely!!!

Who else decided to go for a slushy spin?

Yeah I drove in . But nothin' much happening here in Richmond, VA this morning.

This weekend will be an entirely different story for me, however ... I have scheduled 6 headlight clearings for NOVA & SOMD between Saturday & Sunday. And the ing meteorologists won't stop forecasting 5+ inches of snow by tomorrow morning up that way.

Grrrr.... What's worse is, its one thing to drive all the way up there for the clearings. And its entirely another thing to arrive and find it too difficult for the participants to make it to the Host locations . At this point, I'm expecting I'll drive my wife's 4x4 Ram up north. But again, not much of a party to be had if I get up there and the weather keeps the participants from safely driving themselves to the Host's home/garage .

Maybe you should reschedule and make the event in a 'weather-friendly' town... maybe somewhere like... Maidens?!?... and maybe wait for me to get my smoked diffusers!!!

It seems that Richmond got away with it... no snow or sleet this morning here.

Hopefully this crappy weather will pass through and end tonight. I know the weather reports say differently, but mind over matter

Hmmmm.....I just realized I have to drive home again in all this stuff D'OH!!! As long as the temps stay high enough I think I should be fine.

I saw several cars that hydroplaned off the road. One was an Accord on the Prince William Parkway, I hope everyone is okay.

We had sleet for a couple of hours last night but no real accumulation as it turned to rain overnight so no big deal today. The S2000 is tucked away in the garage while the MINI gave me a ride to work.

Not I. The snow is higher than the bottom of the car. It's warm and safe in the garage.
