Where to Wash car
I moved up here to the Alexandria area about a month ago and yet to find a car wash without a track you have to pull on. The problem is my car will not fit over the track and dont want to take a chance on scratching my rims. I have not been able to wash my car this whole time and it is driving me crazy. Does any one know if there is a wash I can pull into and do it myself. Thankyou for any information given.

don't go to automatic washes, since people have said that it may disrupt the rubber seals and it usually leaks a little, not to mention swirl marks and other crap. either get quick easy wash, optimum rinse-free wash (both of them are rinse free and work well as long as your car isn't completely filthy), or.....get 3 buckets and refill them to throw water on your car for the rinse.

Unfortunately all of the "self service" Flagship Car Washes are in the MD area - Germantown/Gaithersburg/Rockville/Bethesda/DC line... Someone from down in your area will likely chime in, though.
