Default where to get AEM EMS tuned reasonable $?

I have a nearly stock F22C motor (only mods are toda header, aem intake and a resonator in place of a test pipe which turns down (no mufflers)).

i had my AEM EMS tuned at some point but i just put the toda header on and i changed the filter on the AEM intake (i had it previously tuned with a different filter but the same AEM intake).

I was quoted $600 from one place to do a full tune. i was also quoted 2 hours (175 hour) for a retune at the place that installed my AEM EMS.

WTF! I only made 2 small changes...

I would imagine anyone who has tuned and S2000 with AEM EMS already has a 95% complete map and just needs to tweak it a little for my exact mods...?

aren't most people running the EMS also running either a stroker motor, itbs, sc, or turbo?

I am trying to max my power within the rules of Honda-Challenge. I had this thing tuned but then changed the header and air filter... not sure if it is worth getting it retuned based on such small changes.... what a pain... of course there are no tuners anywhere near me....

i wouldn't mind as much paying $350 if there was someone local to me but I have to drive 4 hours down to balitmore ($100+ in gas) then wait around, etc.....

I know Toan at P-Tuning can tune the AEM. Might try giving him a call. He's reasonable to work with and they have an awesome new facility.

Tuning for the street, tuning for the strip, and tuning for the track all require different things. Just be aware of that. Are you looking at doing something, let's say, Tuesday after your track day since you'll be in the area?

It's not far if he spends Monday night between the track and Inline/P-Tuning. Of course, you wouldn't know about that because...........

......... you ain't gonna be at the track Monday.
