I wanna work on a little project and need some aluminum sheets around 35x45 inches in size. Trouble is I'm having problems finding a sheet that size. If anyone has an idea where I can find a sheet of that size it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in the dc metro area if it matters.

 

You can get then in the size of 8ft long by 4 ft across at u hvac supply house. Try calling a place called lyon conklin or an RE micheals in ur area. One sheet will prob cost close to 30 or so bucks.. that's what we pay but we buy in bulk.

I could cut you one and bring it to my house.. after that u would have to be able to pick it up.. I live in columbia area. I only have 26 gauge metal and it is ribbed once every foot. If that will work text me and ill bring it home today.

What are they charging u? I asked my boss we pay abaout 16 a sheet now.

 

I have no idea what thickness I would need. I need to read up some more on sizing/thickness. But the guy said it was 53 bux for 8x4 ft but he didnt specify a gauge b/c I had no idea what I wanted.

 

What are you trying to make? an aluminum firewall?

 

Get more info on what u need and let me know before u go and do anything.. I might be able to also help u fab up whatever ur doing. Ima do a mod day mid may if u wanna do whatever there at my house...
