Wheel Refinishing
Anyone know of any good/reputable wheel refinishing companies or good powder coaters? Looking for something around the Hampton Roads area. I purchased some wheels and they are in some desperate need of restoration.
Thanks,
Tom

Not in your area, but one of the shops that comes highly recommended all the time is Ye Ole Wheel Shop in Maryland.
Here's their information:
Company: Ye Ole Wheel Shop (410-796-8400 or 800-526-8260) Elkridge, MD
You can mail the rims to them and they can repair it.

i just called them, and they told me that powder coating is tough but when it needs to be fixed again, u need to powder coat the entire wheel.
But if u paint the wheel, u can do touch ups . They charge $75 a wheel to re-do the lip polish.

I took my s to a tire company and they messed up my rims pretty bad with their tire machine. They gave me a number to this guy named Glenn who refinishes and paints rims on the side. He does it for a really good price and best of all depending on where you live HE WILL COME TO YOU. you don't have to worry about shipping your rim. If he asks who refered you tell him Buddy.Heres his number 703-862-3149. Let me know what he says.
