Purchased Oct 02, with 1700 already on it, now I have 4800....it's my only car, so I drive it for everything, except when it is buried under 3 feet of snow

Bought ours on July 2nd 2002 and have 1475 miles on it , will I ever get enough to change the oil???

you should change the oil at 3,750 miles(severe conditions) or 6 months, whichever comes first. don't wait for a year just to get 3,750 miles.
