What tires to buy?

If you daily drive it, like I do, and therefore have a potential need to drive in rain or a small amount of snow, i would recommend these: http://www.tirerack....remeContact+DWS

i'm probably the only person who will say this.. but look into Nitto. I LOVE THEIR TIRES for performance. I've found them to act like R-comp tires.
However, all of the other suggestions seems reasonable. i've heard some bad things about the re-11 from a few people... but they could of have defective tires...
i also love the hankook i have on my sti.

Falken Ziex ZE-612. I had three sets already. My car is daily driver, and these tires are amazing at handling snow, mud and rain (especially hydroplaning!).
I have my stock wheels with Hoosiers racing tires on it if I want to go racing, so for a daily driver tires, these lasts forever (replaced rear tires first when front tires were at 80%), handles any weather situation very well, and it performs very well for all weather/all season tires. I mean, it's not an R compound tires.
It's cheap too.
But if you're looking for performance on a weekend car, why not just get some hoosiers or Kumho racing slicks? It'll probably outperform most of the tires out there.
