Don't discount a place like Culpepper. Could be some great touring backroads in that county. And believe me when I say some of my best eatin' & service have been had in "dives" (vs. chain restaruants).

If we were to consider Culpepper...perhaps there could be a recon-group that would be willing to scout roads out that way for future drives. Also, Pointy/Skip, do a member search for Culpepper, VA and/or Orange, VA to see if there are already any owners out that way that could assist with road recommendations, eats, etc.

Right now the I-95 is not a bad drive. As the days get warmer, the traffic will increase anytime after 3pm on Sunday... mostly in the northern direction. Usually after Easter, you can count on a heavier and more constant flow of vehicle on 95N.

For those using I-95, Evolution is about 45 minutes from my place............. at my pace!

(in my best suthern gentlemen voice) AND, us sutherner's can always use RT17 to 301 and otha alternative routes; so heading nawth from here isn't bad
