Sorry I misinterpreted your post. My bad.

Thanks....I was wondering if we were ever going to find out.

Of course I understand that posting on S2Ki is probably not a concern for PSI right now, but I was worried - we see this crap happen a lot around here

Wasup everybody.....I definitely appreciate everyone's replies and PMs. This happened in Annandale, Virginia near the intersection of Braddock Road and Ravensworth. The Fairfax County police did come out and investigate the theft. In reference to marking your seats....I definitely agree there should be some standard that the community might want to agree on. Possibly having Rick's embroider VINs on the seat cushing and the back of the seats as well as engrave VINs on the rails, and if anyone selling seat(s) with scratched out markings in these specific areas then you'll know it's stole. I've also been informed by other members that there are seat locks for our cars that was sold awhile back in a group buy, maybe we can get that group buy going again. All I can say is our cars are GRRRREATTTTT looking cars and very much "cream of the crop" automobiles that attract a lot of attention. So be wary of your surroundings, such as individuals just crusing your neighborhood for a "glimpse" because there an "enthusiasts" (cough......A$$HOLE SCUMBAGs).

This is simply sad to read. I understand the value of our seats, but I can't believe folks are actually slashing the tops to steal them. Geez, will folks stop at nothing.

Don't you worry, they'll get what's coming to them.

PSI - that SUCKS! I tend to keep my car in the garage whenever possible. Had some serious scratches in the trunk recently when I left it out in Silver Spring.

My brother has had his accord broken into twice in his apartment community in Gaithersburg... And it's a nice freakin' place. First they jacked his cheap stereo then they busted his trunk open and took an iBook and LCD projector (the projector he had to replace because it belongs to work).

Also, an out of print book (bible really) on turbocharging and various other things. Left his hundreds of dollars in tools tho - probably cuz they couldn't lift the toolbox (very heavy). Someone found his old cell phone in a bank parking lot in Crofton.

Just awful. Stay vigilent.

First off... that totally sucks!

However, it sounds like they were fairly specific about what they wanted out of your car. Chances are they already had a buyer for the items.

PSI,

really sorry to hear it. Some F-head took a swipe at my top too. I am pretty sure I know who and have agonized many nights wondering if I should do anything.

Let's hope GOD deals with those that do stuff like this
