Default Well that was crazy nuts...

... driving in to work today (sans S2000). I took the ody to work today. I was driving along 97 minding my own business when I saw traffic stopped up ahead. Being a responsible driver I tapped the brakes to slow down gently. Immediately the anti-lock brakes kick in. I repeat I lightly tapped the brakes. Apparently the road was now ice.

No dramatics, fortunately for me some poor slob found out the hard way about the ice, giving me lots of warning.

The one plus was that I discovered some great northern AA county roads while working my way around the accident. Can't wait to try them out in the S.

it's easy, it's still got 4 wheels and runs! so it's possible to drive. it's my daily driver. What good's a car that's sittin? I bought the car cuz I enjoy driving it. Not to sit there and look pretty.

I think the S has a certain fun factor in this weather. How often do I get the chance to drive like I'm in WRC

Seriously, I wouldn't have been able to get ANYWHERE without the Blizzaks. I did my first winter in the S going off the road. I learned my lesson.

It is my daily driver and me, being as totally anal as I am about keeping her clean during the summer, I'm trying to get her completely covered in this mucky slush ... go down the court and do a few donuts just to piss off the neighbors.

It is amusing to be on the roads with nothing but SUVs. Haven't seen another S since the crap came down. Fun fun!
