Default Want to test drive your s2k

Anyone in Richmond willing to let me test drive their s2k? Preferably the 2.2L model. The only dealership that has one is West Broad Honda and I've been up there before and they want to do the whole credit check thing before letting you test drive.

I'm not looking to go out and rag on your car. I just want to take a quick spin. I'd gladly top of your tank of gas.

I'm currently thinking about parting out my wrx and getting into one of these.

pm me if you can help

You really can't find another dealer that has an AP2? You might want to try a used s2k to test drive...

No dealers local. I don't mind at all if its used. If I buy one it'll end up being used. Just trying to see if anyone local could help.

Yeah, I had a father/son check out my car and they said they couldn't get a dealer to allow a test drive - even a dealer they've dealt with for years and purchased/serviced FOUR cars through.

Come on folks, it's not some rare exotic beast anymore (like it was for a single year).

yeah, the dealers seem to be unfriendly about giving you a test drive unless you are going to buy it. I won't be buying one yet I just want to actually get in and drive one to see if its everything I hope it will be.

Heck, even when I bought mine (March/April 2000) they let me test drive one!

Dealers suck like that sometimes. How am I supposed to know if I even want to buy the car without test driving one first? My dad's neighbor test drove a Cayman S and realized he couldn't live with the car (stiffness, low to the ground, etc). If Porsche dealers will allow test drives...

In today's economy how can ANY dealer act like that?
