Thumbs down Vote for your new CO's

We respectfully ask that only the people who live in the Mid-Atlantic area vote. Just having a badge does not count.

This poll will run till January 20th, 2006.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are voting for CO's in every position within the Mid-A. I am stepping down from the SOVA position, and some new nominations have been brought up for the MD slot while the NOVA position will be entirely new.

Everyone who is in the poll was nominated by at least one other Mid-A member, and has voiced to me his/her desire to be a Mid-A CO

If you have an issue with any of the nominees, please keep it to yourself.

I am not from Mid-A and will not be voting but shouldn't the candidates at least be paying members here to even be considered as a candidate?

Just a thought.

No - you don't have to be a paying member to volunteer for anything. Plenty of CO's were guests before. Besides, some of the things a CO has to deal with more than makes up for the $20 or $50 someone pays.

In fact...given what COs & mods tend to have to put up with...the position should come with a free-membership (but it doesn't )

It started to a few months after I became CO

Freq - we've always appreciated your input in the Mid-A, but you're not helping anything right now.

It's freaking $20.

Aside from SweetJ, I don't even know any of the candidates. If it was me voting I would take into consideration if the candidate was a paying member.

I'll say no more.

I won't be voting either since I don't attend many meets. So that leaves only one person in this thread who's opinion actually counts.
