It looks like the nominations have died down. (https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/919...ity-organizer/) It's time to bring this thing to a vote.

Please, if you don't have a stake in the results, do not vote. This includes members from other regions voting for a friend...

If the candidates would like, post up a few words on why you would be a good candidate.

Hey everyone,
I have been a member here for a quite a while, not an OG but a long time member. While I don't have the swagger of one of our fine feathered friends also running. I'm not mad.

During my time here I have organized some events, such as caravans to wake the dragon and Biggest Loser Competitions. I also attend many local events like Track Days and SCCA/CDC autocrosses.

I sit on a computer all the live long day at work, so I will be around to take care issues that may arise from internet arguments etc.

I'm not going to write a book, so thats it and vote for me.

PS I also think the sparrow would make a fine CO.

Send a PM to them then group all the "speeches" into the first post?

Simply, I heart S2ki more than facebook I think this means a lot.
No but really, I helped out many C.Os in past years with other forum. I enjoyed every minute of it.
I don't know many of you in here but just some locals. I'm just happy that I got nominated so thank you all who nominated me
Wish you all good luck!

Hello to my fellow Mid-Atlantic S pilots!

I am very honored to have been nominated to serve our community of enthusiasts in this area.

Ever since I bought the S2000, it has proved several times to be much more fun than I imagined. This applies to the community of the car's fans as well the car itself. I never expected to be able to make great new friends and have such great times with people who share only one thing in common; they had, have had, or love S2000s.

I've put over 50,000 miles on this car in just over 2 years, so I certainly am an enthusiast. This car is comfortable enough to take on 9 hour drives to visit distant relatives and fun enough to get the adrenaline flowing during an ambitious Autocross run.

When I moved here from New Jersey due to BRAC, I literally had no friends in the state of Maryland outside of fellow coworkers who were moving as well. You guys have proven to be a very welcoming and fun crowd, and I want to do what I can to ensure that everyone else in this region gets the same positive social experiences that I had from this club.

As a single guy living on my own, I have quite a bit of spare time that I would be more than willing to use to plan fun drives and events. For example, I've seen "Polar Bear" badges on this site, and I'd love to put one together next time we get some snow. It'd be more than worth it just to see the confused and shocked expressions of everybody else on the road. I also spend a lot of time browsing areas of the site (although I don't post as often as most others) so I'd have no issue making sure the forums are moderated as needed.

Anyhow, thanks for reading!

Do we really have to call them "community organizers?" That term has taken on a negative connotation in the last few years.
