visit to DC
Hey guys, I'm from Charlotte NC. I came up to DC to visit my brother in DC this past weekend. I am in love with the city! It is a little colder, but damn, this city has such an aura of being alive. It's cleaner than I thought and the Metro is the shit!
Saw a couple S2000's a silver one parking in the Wheaton lot for the Metro on Saturday and a Yellow downtown Friday night. Both very clean cars.
So how is life with the S in such a "traffic-y" city? I was scared to drive my brother's car into the district at all!

It is a great city. I don't drive my car downtown. I take the subway everywhere and/or walk. Traffic here is terrible, but that doesn't keep people from driving in it. You know Sheila and Ron McCoy, right? They are from Charlotte and drive hers and his S2000s.

Charlotte is fun (spent 3 years in Rock Hill, SC) but I'd prefer the DC area over it anyday. The pace is quicker up here (but not as quick as NYC, just right).... Traffic does suck but coming from a place where it's a major problem if 485 or 77 is backed up (it never is/was), it's quite the reality check, lol.

very expensive!
I have lived around the country (TX, CA, SD, GA).... and I love the Maryland/DC area the best. I am planning on moving to the Carolinas, though... I just have to visit and see if it is the part of the country for me
