Aight! How is that date for those interested? Since this one needs some technical skills, the dates available are not as open as say a Drinkfest!

February 29th or March 21st? or

Speak up and we'll make this happen!

So what's the deal with tools? I'm covered for myself up until I hit the point of actually doing the valves (i.e. I don't have 90deg feeler gauges).

Also, I'm going to need a new gasket set (valve cover, plugs, and retaining bolt gaskets). I think someone mentioned they had a set? If it's complete, I'll take it, otherwise I'll order a set now.

I have the valve gasket set you're wanting . Bring $30 & its yours.

Tools should be covered by the shop. However, I have a set of feeler gauges (not 90 degree...but not flat either...). They're 45s and did fine for last valve adjust clinic . I've also purchased a set of the "hole-through-the-ratchet/sockets" that should prove beneficial as it would allow us to pass a screwdriver down through the set screw, holding it in place, while adjusting the retaining nut with the ratchet/socket .

Laz will also have similar tools, so we'll be good to go!

Sounds good. I realized we'll have to sit around for what, an hour or so before we get started (engine needs to cool down first)....
I'm assuming we're still doing this at Quantico?
