Default Valve adjustment tech day?

So folks, a while back a valve adjustment tech day was being discussed for this month (I think), but I've lost track of it.
Any chance of it still happening?

I would still have interest as well .

Skip's our "point man" on this intended event. However it should be appreciated that Skip recently lost his father. Skip's heart and obligations are to his family for some time at the moment.

Let's go ahead and utilize this thread to develop interest for such a Valve Adjustment Tech Day. But let's understand that a date cannot be set at this point in time.

Fair enough?

Thanks,
Dave

Works for me. I certainly wasn't picking on anyone in particular, I was just curious as to the current state of affairs.

Certainly if Skip is the point man, and he has other things going on in his life (who doesn't), then I certainly don't expect him to spend his time here.

My condolensces to him and his family.

This does not answer to a desired February event...but if I might suggest the following date, I could attend (and having PM'd back and forth with Skip, my attendance would be a good idea given I've done this before ).

So...suggested date: Sunday, March 21st.

This forward date should give folks plenty of time to schedule. Similarly, should give Skip time to make a "bowling treat" or a "haul-azz treat" somewhere around Quantico depending on the weather. And weather itself should be less of a concern for folks travelling as well.

One other thing I would suggest. Limit this to 5 folks participating. Only so many tools. And MOSTLY...only so many military IDs likely to get folks on-base in the first place. Seriously there are some logistics in regards to using the base, so this should be somewhat limited. Also ...only so much of me to go around (although I seem to gain weight as I speak)....

- Dave

PS. All above is only suggestion... I would still want Skip to sign off on it.

No, you definitely don't need to attend with only 2400 on the car.
