Default VAFC insight

As most of you know I'm running the AP1 ecu with the F22c motor. I'm throwing cels codes P0170 and 171. Its says its running lean. Checked hoses and O2 sensor and everything is fine. Suggestions have been made to get a VAFC so I can fix the code. Anyone have any insight/opinions on this? Much help appreciated. Thanks J

I thought you could only change VTEC engagement and remove fuel/add air- not add fuel/remove air. If so, a VAFC would do J no good.

Maybe the Apexi NEO?

VAFC 2
- New case design with center push button and rotating outer switch
- VTEC engagement control from 3000-7000 RPM in 100 RPM increments
- 12 point fuel control for LOW and HIGH VTEC maps (total of 24 points)

NEO
The AFC NEO boasts an incredible 16 points of user definable fuel correction.

That would be correct.

How long has motor been in car? If not long might be possible that you have a vacuum leak somewhere (if car is running on the rough side) i.e hose not hooked up for pcv system, intake gasket rolled or something of that matter. Just some more insight.

a VAFC adds or subtracts fuel. The only thing that can add or subtract "air" is the throttle......
