I would love to see VA do away with the front plate requirement.
P.S. Besides, it is SO hard to keep clean and keep the bugs off of it!

sweet.. that would be so pimp if we could take it off and not worry about it... then when dc and md gives me tickets i can shove them up their .. well you know the deal...

My blatant disregard for MD's front tag law has netted me $110 worth of tickets (that'd be 2 in 5 years @ $55/pop) and saved my a$$ a couple of times, I'm sure. I came over a hill on Clara Barton to a cop shooting radar and I either blinded him or he couldn't get a lock on my lack of front plate, but i was easily going faster than I should have been. Didn't nab me.
I HEARD a long time ago that the S was a difficult radar/laser lock from the front, but that's complete hearsay.

i got a ticket for no front plate on sunday on my way to dc to meet up with VR_WHAT. the cop was just pissed that he couldnt ge a read on me with his radar. ill take the plate ticket as opposed to the 15 over i should have gotten any day. but i do hate the way cars loook with front plates.
