Ugh. Continued clutch problems.

62,000 miles. I've only owned the car for about the last 1000 miles of that, so I can't answer that question.
As I paid $14k for the car, I expected to have to do some work to get it in order.

Congrats on your purchase... I've had mine from the beginning... She will be 4 next week and has a little over 50k on her right now... Lots of TSBs have been done and no clutch replacement yet.. although I did have the deceleration fixed and the 1-2 grind fixed...

Interestingly enough, my car doesn't grind any gears. It's pretty notchy, but no grinds....
I suspect the car was somewhat neglected in terms of maintenance, but not driven terribly hard. Regardless, everything seems to be squared away now. Now if the damn weather would take a turn for the better, I'd be a happy camper...

ok, . .heres the update, i pulled out the "worthless" hondacare extended warrenty. it seems that although "powertrain" is covered up to 100K(which they usually say that its the other part of the warrenty that you need. there is one fun little sentence that says that the warrenty on non-powertrain components is extended 1 year or 12K miles. so now i called my service dept and they are going to look at it monday. im going to be sure to drop the car off the night before so they can look at it cold, before it has warmed up and the problem goes away.

The problem is, NO powertrain warranty is going to cover clutch replacement. It's a wearable part, like brake pads. They might do a good faith replacement under warranty, but I seriously doubt it.

Glad Curry's took care of you.
I basically have the same problem when it's really cold. Guess it's time to flush the clutch fluid. Which in turn means, I'll probably flush the brake fluid as well. Thanks for posting.
For the record, my car has never been driven hard.
