Twisty Roads in the Area
I've had my S2000 for a year now and have had a lot of fun driving it up in the mountains of WV. I posted my favorite roads up here:
http://redrumroads.blogspot.com/
I've also seen the Motorcycle roads databases at:
http://www.motorcycleroads.com/
http://www.motorcycleroads.us/
But I'm really only interested in the twisty bits. And all my best finds are 2 hours away. I even spent a day at Summit Point, but that's not really an option for an evening drive. Can anyone recomend some roads closer to home? I'm in Gaithersburg, but open to anything withing about an hours driving distance.

I just did 17 and 77 over the weekend, 17 was very scenic and 77 was curvy and crowded. Holiday weekend I guess. Will have to drive up again when things aren't so crowded.

The road that is in the park A left from 77 (park Central?) that goes by Camp David is really nice too, but patroled by Park rangers on the weekend, weekdays are good.

I always have fun on Georgetown Pike, Snickersville Turnpike http://www.snickersvilleturnpike.org/byway.htm, and the country roads around Purcellville.

That's a fancy Shaguar you have there.
Try places like Sandy hook and Harpers Ferry road which lead the back way to Sharpsburg. Lots of places to explore around there.

Sharpsburg is nice too, especially all the little roads near the potomac river. Nothing like route 33 though. On the other side of the river, route 9 north of 81 is fun too, with a couple curvy areas, that were completely ruined by slow traffic this past weekend as well.
