This weekend is the final event of the autocross season in Hampton Roads. TSCC will be hosting a two day event at reduced prices so everyone can come out and have fun. Trophies will be awarded for the two day event and Sunday is the final event for the 2012 PAX Championship.

I was lucky enough to win the 2012 ODR SCCA Pax Championship and with a little luck I'll win this series as well. I'm currently first but will have to run a good event to take home the title. I'm really looking forward to the battle and invite everyone to come join in on the fun.

Event Registration is open to TSCC Members!
Registration will open to non-members on Saturday 11/10, with the event registration closing on 11/16.


Here's the basic plan:
TSCC Full Members will not pay for Saturday and/or Sundays entry fee!(full membership has it's benefits)
TSCC Basic Members will pay their usual discounted rate of $25 for Saturday and if they run both days Sunday will only be $15!
Non-Members will pay the usual rate of $30 for Saturday and if they run both days Sunday will only be $25!

Entrants who run both Saturday and Sunday will be eligible for a Two Day Fall event trophy.
Sunday will be a regular scheduled TSCC Championship Event, the season will be as originally planned, 9 events with 2 drops.

Gates will open at 7:30 both mornings, Registration and Tech will open by 7:30, and first car off at 9:30.
As soon as you get to the site please register at the club trailer to receive your Tech card, then take your card and prepped car to Tech immediately so the Tech crew can finish their jobs and get their course walk too.


The Red Onion will be onsite with a good menu of food, snacks, and drinks both days, bring cash.

Any word on TSCC getting ACU4 back next year?

 

Nothing on paper yet but as someone in the know told me recently, "its pretty much a done deal". I cannot confirm nor deny and you didn't hear that from me.

sounds good though because I will definitely make the drive for that. Hoping to be back in a s2k by next year.

 

I plan on making Sundays event however due to all the workload left by sandy I will likely not make it on sat due to overtime. I likely won't be able to take a shot at a trophy. Things are subject to change so may see if I can walk in to register. I would like to get some seat time regardless.

 

The event starts tomorrow, if you're not planning to drive during the event just come and hang out. It should be a lot fun.
