Everytime I see another owner driving around they are always waving (and thinking why did he buy that gay blue color!?!?!?!?!?!? ) Great story though!!!!!!

good story Brian! thats one of the things I love about this car. Everyone who owns one is just so nice, and the community on here is the best!
BTW.. How is the R6 Dan?

Brian, I've found that the more "life-experienced" S2000 owners often don't know about the online communities that pop up around every car in production (dude, there's a forum for Gremlins and Pacers!). Some could care less about speaking with other owners, but a select few are more enthusiastic than any 16 year old. Good find, and I hope Barb and her hubby log on and check out the mid-A group (did you mention you were born in '82? )

I met a lot of great people through ownership of the s2k and I still do. I recently flew to Sweden and met the community organizer in Stockholm. He really made me feel at home even though I wasn't anywhere close. He had no reason to reach out to me other than I once owned an s2000.
Hell I consider meeting most of you a good enough reason to buy an s2000.
I pull next to s2000s as often as I can still and talk to them and trade stories. It's a small world
