True Story about S2000s bringing people together.
This happened to me about 2 weeks ago I'd say. Just getting around to posting about it now.
I am a waiter. It sucks but it gives me pretty good money for still being in college. I park my car always in the same corner spot to minimize the chance that it gets hit, and I often have someone from work part next to me so I can't get dinged either. They look out for me like that Anyway, one evening, my co-worker wasn't parked next to me, and I look out the front windows to see a 06-07 NFR AP2 parked right next to me. "Oh cool" I thought, "I'll have to see if I can find out who that is." Not even 2 minutes later I was within ear-shot of the host-stand and I hear this person asking the hostess if they know who owns the blue S2000 outside. The hostess was new and didn't know it was my car but I quickly chimed in and met Barb. Now, Barb is not what I would consider a 'typical' S2000 enthusiant. She was maybe I'm gonna guess 55. And female. I was like We immediately start talking about our cars and she was telling me about how her husband wants to go drive the dragon and she wants to take it up to summit point in the near future. Needless to say I'm thinking this is the coolest woman ever. She only had 1 margarita that evening (a good choice), but she came back in a few days ago and I was able to buy her drink for her. I told her about this site and meets and stuff so maybe she'll show up. If, by any chance you're reading this Barb, its been great to meet you! I love this car.
Anyone else have any similar stories?
