Trans shops close to SOMD
So I was driving my truck around town yesterday running errands and I started to feel it slip thought it was nothing. Later on during the trip I had to give it a little extra on the skinny pedal and all felt well until I let off, stepped on the gas again and the rpms just went up and truck barely moved. Got closer to my next destination had to stop at a stop light started driving again and the truck just hung in first gear and then shifted hard into 2nd and then hung in there up to around 2500 rpms. I know the rpms sound low but I have a 07 Dodge with a Cummins.
Ok now the rant is over. I am looking for a GOOD trans shop that can rebuild my trans for me. I live in Waldorf, md and am willing to travel a small distance but am unfamiliar with places that work on automatic transmissions so any help would be appreciated.

My co workers cousin does transmissions he can do them cheaper than most shops will charge. But if you want to pay more money you can go to cottman off of 925(old Washington rd) thats where we send our trans work. And sometimes they send rebuilds to his cousin lol. Pm me if you want more info. Thought you needed work on your s cuz I would of been your guy since I work in Waldorf lol.

No work needed on the S at this time but if your in this area I might enlist your help in the fall the clutch in it will need replacing and I can always use an extra hand wrestling the trans in and out of the car

Try Glen Burnie Transmissions. We have used a few at work and everything has gone well.
