I drove my friends 2005 back in the day. My biggest gripe with it was the blindspot, although if I remember right looking back it is comparable to driving the S with the soft top up.

why not keep the s and just buy that mustang. if the s is paid for then its not costing you much. and you'll always have that s. besides if you get rid of it and decide you want another one, good used S's are getting hard to find. nothing wrong with owning a stang. iconic muscle car! good luck with your decision.

You have legitimate reasons for wanting to swtich. But you will regret it. You might get "more" with the new Mustang, which looks really nice, and is a good deal. But a Mustang is still a Mustang. They are all over the road. They aren't special. They are known for not being particularly well-built. The S2000 is something special for those reasons and countless more. You obviously know this, as you have had 3 of them now. But what you don't realize yet is that once you leave it you will always miss it. Power and bells-and-whistles features will never compensate for the character you are losing when you move on from the S2000. It is a unique car. They do not make cars like that anymore. I can go in to how it is so special to me, and probably to everyone here, but I don't need to. You all know. And this is how I feel coming from having my S2000 from 2005-2010. All the work and blood/sweat/tears I put in to that car, in addition to the amount of soul (for lack of a better term) that the car has and how special and unique it is in so many ways can never be replaced. You've had 3 of them so your connection might be even deeper than mine is. I'm saying this even though I haven't had the S2000 for 4 years now, and had a regular DD in between (2004 Acura TL). My current car is a 2013 GTR. Even coming to this car from the TL (finally having a sportscar again after so long), I still miss the S2000 every day and tell myself every day that if I could get my car back in the way I had it before, I would gladly take it over the GTR.

Ive been driving a V6 rental stang for the last week. In order to condsider buying it the suspension would have to be changed immediately. the v6 isnt terrible. Probably the same get up and go as the S. If they dont have a manual that would be game over. This is not a good automatic.
