I'll take your word on the 20%. Any reputable shop (like D&L) should be able to tell you what to use anyway.
BTW - what MY/color is yours? Mine is a Black 06 and Brian's is a White 06.

We have all 3 levels of the 06 model
Me: RT
Brian: RTS
You: RTL
They didn't come out with the RTX until 07 (or 08)
Anyway, enough stealing your thread

Do not go to Winners Window Tint in Rockville, MD. What they consider as the industry standard looks like a below average installation. The top of my windows fog up during rainy days and there are a ton of dust particles and and sudsy bubble here and there. They've even tried to fix it a few times but something new pops up. Your car may also leave the shop with new damage if you get Lamin-x stuff installed. I'm still trying to dispute the charges. They like to knock out there cars in about 1hr. Find a place that will take the time to do the job right the first time.

So I called D&L and they either have 30% which is too dark or 50% which is not going to be dark enough.. wtf.. they start a 4 door car at $180 up to $230... gezzzzzzzus. I swear I know its been like 10 years since I got the S done but man they want to rape you... I think I may want to find a closer place to home.. Anyone know a place near Columbia?

I think I'm going to possibly have a friend of a friend do it for me. He quoted me 60 for both fronts on the Ridgeline. I've seen his work and it looks great. Only downside is he only does weekends which is really hard for me to make. He just did my friends white G8 and it looks hot. I was told he works outta Dundalk, a little drive for you from Columbia, maybe 30 minutes and a trip through the Harbor Tunnel but I can always ask if you wanted to get a quote and maybe have both done on the same day?
Let me know.

Just got my wife's Legacy tinted at Details Details Details in Rockville. What I mean by "just" is TODAY. Took them the whole afternoon, but I am EXTREMELY satisfied with their quality of work. I went with 20% on a silver car. Looks . Paid $229 for it, and it's worth every penny.
BTW, I paid $180 13 years ago to tint my Civic coupe. $230 is actually not that bad...
