Default Testing Waters : Old Meets New Gathering

I was pretty bored last night, just bumming it around the house and started looking through some old folders in my computer from S2000 Meets in the past. Without question, the S2000 is an amazing car, but I really feel that it was the community and friends that were made from it that kept me in for so long.

With that said, I was wondering how some of the members, both current and old would feel about a larger gathering. A lot of us are no longer S2000 owners, but that doesn't mean we aren't still into the car.

How would everyone feel about a gathering, perhaps in a more central location like Fredricksburg/Richmond/DC, whatever? Since some of us no longer have S2000's, it'd be sort of pointless to do a drive, but a nice meet/greet/eat could be fun.

Just testing waters at this point, but how does everyone feel about the idea?

i feel like the COs avoid meets where the newer people will be in attendance, even though they claim the leadership is representative and fair

That hurts but you are entitled to your opinion...

With that said, Chad, I'd be happy to attend such a meet and do what I can to help set it up.

Any thoughts on a time frame?

I suggest at the break of spring. More people would be inclined to trek out should they have to cover some distance for the meet

That would be my suggestion, too... I know I tend to hibernate in the crappier months. Those that DD the S (such as myself) are going to be less likely to travel long distances with any kind of threat of nasty weather.
