Default Tenblade is gone...I think

Well, I was driving to work and a guy driving to the Amphib base T-boned me on the driver's side. I was pinned in the car and they had to remove the front door. I looked at the car today and I'm pretty sure its totaled. I would like to get another s2000, but we'll see how much the insurance company gives me. I might look into buying the salvaged car and parting it out... here's what I get off it
Comptech intake
polished valve cover
Greedy voltage stabilizer
Cusco front sway bar
Cusco front STB
Cusco sub frame
Cusco rear sway bar
Cusco rear STB
Volk Le28N (looked like they were ok)
Amuse-type CF hood painted Silverstone
Ricks 4.77 gears and yellow box
Cwest front lip (will need some work)
Mugen SS wing (will need some work)
Engine and drive drain (40K and still strong)
Garage defend sides (driver's side will need some work)
GP sports rears

Anyone have an idea what I might get for the car is they total it (2001)
would it be worth it to buy back and part out?

Steve, all I can say is that I'm glad you're okay. You didn't indicate if you 'needed some work' after the incident ...but I'll assume you're none the worse for ware. Sorry about your car, you had set her up very nicely. If you're thinking about another S2000 though, wouldn't you perhaps want any number of those same 'parts' to be transferred over to the next S2000 .

Glad you are OK, Steve! Some of us have been missing you out here. Really sorry about the car. I hope you get another one.

Hey Doc, glad you are okay... You ARE OKAY right?

Car can be fixed, and made even better. I am sure Alex or Chad can give you some idea what the car is worth, as well as many other car dealer peeps on here.

Again, hope you are doing fine.

usually insurance companies will give you almost retail money. at least that's what i've seen. once they total it you can negotiate with them on how much you can buy it back at. good luck and keep us updated with what the insurance comp. tells you

glad your ok brother!

Steve is fine - a little banged up and sore, but he's okay - he was very lucky!

How did things go with the insurance company Steve?

Oh man... so sorry to hear this but I'm sure it could have been much worse. The important this is you're ok! With all those aftermarket parts, it would probably be worth it for you to buy it back. When my first car was totaled though, they wanted almost $6k for the buy back, and I wasn't even sure of the drivetrain condition. They were out of their damn minds.
