Thumbs up Supersprint vs HKS Hi-Power Exhaust

All, I've had the HKS for a year and has loved the sound. The drone is minimal but I've never been too fond of the look of the tips and thinks its a bit loud that can attract the cops.

I've always wanted the Supersprint exhaust but they are rare and hard to find. I was able to get my hands a non-resonated version (with slant tips) and finally got it on this weekend.

One reason I got the SS is for a more stock oval looking exhaust with a quieter sound. However, I got a Berk Test Pipe with the SS and I must say, it is LOUD - louder than the HKS + Cat.

A part of me is regretting this decision and I'm wondering if I should do one of the following three options:

1. Get rid of TP and keep SS (but what if SS and Cat is still not what im looking for? i hate keeping payin $ to the shop to install this back & forth)

2. Get rid of both TP and SS and go back to HKS + Cat

3. Get rid of SS and go HKS + TP (unlikely since this will be even louder than now)

4. Keep SS + TP and learn to live with the loudness?

Any ideas?

I'm with you on the tips. Is putting stock ap2 tips on the end of the hks and option (ask me how I know I think it looks good and sounds good (I also run a TP).

I'm not even sure what the SS looks like but the HKS just does not look good on the ap2 rear bumper. Looks wayyy too small for how large the cutouts are. Still sounds good but looks....nahhh. sorry Bill

My nose must be broken b/c I can't smell the difference between having a cat and being catless. I always hear people complain about it but have never noticed it myself. That SS one does look great. Maybe you could look at a resonated test pipe? or a Hi-flow cat? The stock cat is pretty restrictive.
